The "LORENZINI NATURAMICA®"owns and manages a farm with particularly fertile land in the Padana region of Northern Italy and in Sicily.
The main farm is in Sermide, near Mantua, in the South-East of Lombardy Region; the other farm is located near Pachino - Siracusa, which is in the South-East of Sicily.
Togher both farms produce approx. 4,000 tons of quality melons per year, there is no doubt that the farm represents a major production facility.
The owners, Mr. Daniele Lorenzini and his wife Mrs. Vanna Barotti, and their sons, are particularly proud of the excellent results they have achieved to date.In full season approximately 100 permanent and seasonal workers are engaged in cultivation and harvesting, which is also significant in terms of local employment.
A major part of the small melon plants used for transplantation (800,000 plants approx. per year) is produced directly in the Company's own nurseries. |
